What the calculators send
Nothing. Every calculator on Plumbdeck runs entirely in your browser. Pipe sizes, fixture counts, job prices and customer details typed into the invoice template stay on your device and are never transmitted to us or to anyone else.
The contact form
Messages sent through the contact form (name, email, message) are delivered by email to the editor and used only to reply; the site does not store them.
Analytics
We count page views with Vercel Analytics and Google Analytics 4. Vercel Analytics is cookie-free; Google Analytics 4 sets a first-party measurement cookie so a repeat visit is not counted twice. Neither one is given a name, an email or anything you type into a calculator — what we see is a page path, a referrer, a country and a device class. We cannot tie a visit to a person, and we do not try.
Cookies
Plumbdeck sets no advertising cookies and sells nothing to ad networks. The only cookie is the first-party Google Analytics 4 measurement cookie described above; blocking it costs you nothing on this site. Your browser may store its own preferences; we do not read them.
Hosting and logs
The site is served by Vercel, which keeps short-lived request logs (IP address, user agent, path) for operations and abuse prevention. We do not query those logs for marketing.
Sponsored content
Some articles and vendor listings on this site are paid placements. Payment buys presence, never the page’s verdict or a vendor’s ranking, and every vendor claim is checked against the vendor’s own documentation before it is published. A sponsor never sees anything about you.
